How do I find a Registry?

It's easy to find a Gift Registry online. All you need is the name or number of the Registry.

I can't find a person's registry online, what do I do?

First, check the spelling of the name and/or the registration number. If you still can't find the Registry, you can call our customer service centre on 13 14 43 during business hours or contact us via email at giftregistry@myer.com.au.

How up to date is the online registry?

Gift lists are continually changing, and while every effort is made to keep the on-line list as up-to-date as possible, the most up-to-date gift list will be available in-store. Please contact 13 14 43, or a store if you have any queries regarding the latest gift list.

How do I purchase a gift?

Purchasing a gift with Myer Gift Registry is a simple and enjoyable experience. Once you have obtained a list from one of the above methods there are a number of different ways you can purchase a gift:

  • In store
  • Over the phone

Can I purchase online?

Yes, all you need is to search the name or number of the Registry to start shopping from the gift list

How up to date are the gift prices?

Prices quoted on our online gift lists are the current sell price. One of the many benefits that you may receive is that you will pay the current price for an item on the day of purchase, which may include catalogue or promotional prices and offers. So remember to look out for great specials and promotions in store as that is the price that you will pay for your chosen gift.

Online delivery methods

Standard Delivery

Standard Delivery Fee $9.95 for orders with a total purchase price under $100, FREE delivery for orders with a total purchase price $100 and over (except for goods that require special delivery)

Gifts purchased online are delivered separately via Australia Post. Please obtain a registrants preferred delivery address, prior to placing your online order, alternately you can select to deliver to your preferred address and bring the gift to the occasion.

Big and Bulky

Items purchased online will incur a $65 delivery fee and cannot be gift wrapped.

Will items be gift-wrapped?

Gift wrapping can be selected as part of the checkout process with a personal message attached. Gift wrapping is $7.95 per registry order.

In-store delivery methods

Staggered delivery

If registrants have chosen staggered delivery, the delivery cost is $9.95 per order. This includes free gift wrap on the entire order.

Each gift will be delivered separately to the registrant via Australia Post following a purchase made by the guest.

One-drop delivery

If registrants have chosen staggered delivery, the delivery cost is $9.95 per order. This includes free gift wrap on the entire order.

Gifts are delivered on the registrant’s preferred date and to their chosen address.

Big and Bulky

Big and Bulky items on the registry list will incur a $65 delivery fee and cannot be gift wrapped. See in store for further details.

Why choose Myer as your Gift Registry provider?

Can I register if my event is not a wedding?

Whatever your occasion, Myer Gift Registry service is here to help you. Some popular registry events include engagements, weddings, kitchen teas, baby showers, christenings, bar mitzvahs, anniversaries, birthdays and Christmas lists.

Can I setup a gift registry online?

Currently, a Gift Registry can only be created at your closest Myer store.

How do I register?

Visit the Myer Gift Registry at your closest Myer store where you can register, ideally at least a month before you send out your invitations.

Where can I register?

The Myer Gift Registry is available in every Myer store across the nation

Scan to Add Product

You will be given a scanner to borrow (please see in store for details) Scan anything and everything you like. If you're not sure whether something's suitable, ask us for help.

What items can I register?

There are no restrictions on what you can register. You have access to every department across every store. Just keep in mind that your gift list should reflect your needs and desires, making the choice much easier for your guests. Put anything you like on your list, you never know what you'll receive!

Are there any fees to setup a registry?

The Myer Gift Registry is a free service that we provide to all of our customers.

I have a registry, how do I tell people about it?

We will give you insert cards to include with your invitations if you wish, explaining that you have a gift suggestion list at Myer. You can also share your Registry with your friends and family by emailing it to them. Your guests will have the option to purchase gifts online. Gifts purchased online are delivered separately via Australia Post. When letting your guests know that you have a Myer Gift Registry, please provide your guests with your preferred delivery address for online purchases.

What products can I include on my Gift Registry?

There are no restrictions on what you can register. You have access to every department. Just keep in mind that your gift list should reflect your needs and desires, making the choice much easier for your guests.

Do I have to complete my registry all at once?

You do not have to complete your list at the time of registering. You may wish to select a few items and then come back later to complete the list. If your list is completed sooner than you expected you can add more gifts in-store or over the phone. You can also remove items from you list at anytime in the lead up to your event

What if there are gifts left on my Registry on completion of my occasion?

While you are not required to purchase any remaining gifts, one of the great benefits of a Myer Gift Registry is our Completion Program. Just in case there are items left on your list, you can purchase these gifts after your event at great discounted rates. Simply purchase the remaining items on your Gift Registry list within three months after your occasion and we'll give you a 10%* discount off Electrical items, 20% off Furniture and 30% off Homewares. Purchases must be made in one day and after your occasion has occurred. Not to be used in conjunction with any other offer. Full terms and conditions are available on the vouchers issued in store. *Subject to change

Is there a minimum or maximum amount that I have to register?

There is no limit to the number of items you can register with Myer. This means your list can be as simple or as extensive as you wish.

Do I have to select all the gifts for my Registry at once?

You do not have to complete your list at the time of registering. You may wish to select a few items and then come back later to complete the list. You can also add and remove items at any point in the lead-up to your event, which is made so easy with our hand-held scanners.

Are there any delivery fees with a registry purchase?

Your guest may pay delivery fees, dependant on whether they purchased the gift in store or online and the item chosen.

Standard Delivery: Free on orders $100+. Delivery within 3-7 days in metro areas
Click & Collect: Shop online, free pick up in-store

In-store delivery methods

Staggered delivery (Delivery cost $9.95 per order includes free gift wrap on entire order)
Each gift will be delivered separately to the registrant via Australia Post following a purchase made by the guest.

One-drop delivery (Delivery cost $12.95 per order includes free gift wrap on entire order)
All gifts are delivered on a registry owner’s date preferred and address.

Big and Bulky

Big and Bulky items on the registry list incurs a greater cost and are not eligible for gift wrapping.
