He is best known as the frontman of Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds and his early career is deemed as integral to the post-punk era both in Australia and internationally. He is an artist who is driven by a unique emotional intensity, with a low sonorous voice and an authentic candour and has been hugely prolific in a wide variety of art forms.
